Andrew Dennis, Director of Data and Analytics at Aperture Investors, featured in CIO Review
Andrew Dennis, Director of Data and Analytics at Aperture Investors, recently sat down with CIO Review to discuss why building a resilient data foundation comes before innovation, and how responsible AI adoption shapes how his team approaches growth.
When Andrew Dennis joined Aperture Investors three years ago, the firm had talent and ambition but lacked the data infrastructure to support those ambitions at scale. His team built systems that allowed information to move reliably across the organization. Risk reporting became timely, and data moved through the firm in structured ways. Today, as the pace of technological change accelerates, Andrew's approach remains unchanged: evaluate new technologies through proof-of-concept work, build with governance in mind and remember that speed only creates value when controlled.
"Every decision still comes back to one principle," Andrew told CIO Review. "Technology should solve real problems before introducing new complexity."
