Aperture’s Anis Lahlou Recognized as Top Europe Equity Manager in Citywire Iberia Distribution Awards 2026
Anis Lahlou, Chief Investment Officer, European Equities at Aperture Investors, was named the winner of the Europe equity category in the Citywire Iberia Distribution Awards 2026.
The award recognizes the individual fund manager who generated the highest risk-adjusted return1 in the European equity sector over the past three years in Spain, based on the individual track records of all funds managed in the sector during the period to 31st December 2025.
Now in its second edition, the Citywire Iberia Distribution Awards celebrate excellence in fund distribution across Spain and Portugal. Citywire's rating methodologies are actuarially approved by AKG Actuaries & Consultants.
With more than 25 years of experience investing in European equities, Anis has developed a differentiated investment approach, centered on investor behavior and identifying companies undergoing meaningful change that may not yet be fully reflected in market valuations.
His recognition was driven by the performance of Aperture's European Innovation strategies, which, under his leadership, seek to identify attractive opportunities across European equities through bottom-up fundamental research, active stock selection, and a disciplined focus on companies with improving fundamentals and long-term re-rating potential.2
