Peter Kraus, Chairman and CEO of Aperture Investors, Featured on CNBC's Squawk Box

Peter Kraus, Chairman and CEO of Aperture Investors, joined CNBC's Squawk Box to discuss how market attention is generally returning to structural growth themes following the Middle East ceasefire announcement.

Peter discussed how this development allows the market to look past recent geopolitical friction and focus on the massive technology capital expenditure cycles. Current spending represents a fundamental change in how businesses will operate and should not be viewed as a sign of excess. Markets are generally moving past early AI enthusiasm toward a phase where companies must effectively put the technology to work.

"Markets will soon go back to being driven by AI investment," Peter told CNBC.

Lower oil prices resulting from the ceasefire could help ease inflation and generally provide the Federal Reserve more flexibility on rate cuts later this year. Despite recent volatility, corporate earnings and liquidity conditions remain generally supportive of near-term performance.
