Armand Thompson

Associate Director

Armand Thompson, CFA is an Associate Director on the Structured Credit Team at Aperture. Previously, Armand was a Portfolio Manager at Orange Investment Advisors where he oversaw the firm’s structured credit portfolios. Prior to joining Orange Investment Advisors, he worked at TortoiseEcofin where he served as a Vice President assisting with the management of the publicly traded fixed-income portfolios. He also served as the Portfolio Manager and Head-Trader for the firm’s structured products. Prior to joining TortoiseEcofin, Armand worked at Palmer Square Capital Management LLC where he served as the lead analyst for the firm’s asset-backed (ABS) and mortgage-backed (MBS) strategies and also covered REITs, real estate services, and distressed credits for special situations. Prior to that, Armand served as a private equity analyst with K1 Investment Management. Armand received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and is a CFA® charterholder.
